Many VW, Audi, SEAT, and Škoda models use MQB systems. When all keys are lost, gaining access and programming a key can be more involved than standard diagnostics.

Many Mercedes models use an electronic ignition switch (EIS) and an electronic steering lock (ESL) as part of the vehicle’s security system.
